For complete women’s services, WPM Pathology is a leader in molecular testing. We are proud to operate the state-of-the-art BD ViperTM LT System providing the most comprehensive HPV test results to complement our BD SurePath Collection System for Pap testing. This improves efficiency, performance and flexibility in our laboratory when answers for your patient matters!
The Viper LT is FDA approved to be used with all cervical cancer paradigms, meeting all ASCCP Extended Genotyping guidelines and includes:
- Co-testing HPV with BD SurePath Cytology
- Primary Screening for HPV
- Triage for ASCUS Pap reflexed to HPV
- Self-collected HPV
The BD Viper LTTM System provides more individual genotyping than any other FDA approved assay available. We report types:

- Pool 1: 35, 39, 68
- Pool 2: 56, 59, 66
- Pool 3: 33 & 58
Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhea
Chlamydia and gonorrhea testing is also available in our laboratory with the Viper LT System.
